WELCOME TO THE DEPARTMENT

In the Department of Electronics educational, research and technology transfer activities take place, which reach into concepts and methods of Physics, Electronics Engineering, Materials Engineering and Computer Engineering. Currently, the Department of Electronics participates in 6 different degrees and is formed by about 90 members, including teaching staff, researchers, postgraduate students, administrative and service staff.

The Department of Electronics was created on December the 23rd, 1997 due to the consolidation of the educational and research activities in the area of Information and Communication Technologies that had been developing at the University of Barcelona.
